Safety tips

The line is built for anonymity — your number is never shown, and no profile exists. These habits keep it that way.

Keep identifying details to yourself

First name only. Skip your last name, exact address, workplace, license plate, and anything that pinpoints you. A general part of town is plenty for a good conversation.

Never share financial information

Nobody legitimate on a chat line needs your card number, banking details, gift cards, or a "small loan." Anyone asking for money, in any form, is a scam — disconnect and move on.

Stay on the line's system

The anonymity only works while you're on the line. Be cautious about moving to personal numbers, social media, or messaging apps with someone you've just met — there's no rush.

Meeting in person? Treat it like a first date with a stranger

Public place, daylight hours, your own transportation, and a friend who knows where you are and when to expect a check-in. Keep the first meeting short.

Trust the fast exit

If a conversation turns pushy, aggressive, or just off, end it — instantly and without explanation. The next greeting is one press away.

Remember: nobody is screened

Callers are not screened or background-checked. Treat everyone as a stranger until they've earned otherwise, no matter how good the conversation is.
